About Me
I am a numismatic artist. I have always been drawn to art. In school, I took every art class available (including music and drama). I also found that drafting, architectural design and engineering satisfied my need for artistic expression. Drafting and design gave me a more detailed, technical approach to my art. And my art gave me a more creative feel for my technical design work.

My art today is a merger of technical drafting practices and classical drawing techniques. Hour upon hour. Day upon day. Every coin is precisely recreated down to the finest details. Once the drawing is complete, it is scanned and imported into Photoshop where it is formatted into the final prints available on my site.
Recent Updates
  • Finished. This drawing was based on a couple different coins, but I used the JDG Trust example for the coloration.

These originals as well as others will be available for sale at the Worlds Fair of Money in August.

I hope to see you there...

  • Here is an excellent example of a capped die strike. This example was struck through a shifted/rotated cap. It was struck once, not multiple times as stated on the slab.
Very pricy, but lots of eye appeal.

  • Is this an error or PMD?

The answer is ERROR not PMD.

While most people identify this as PMD, this is actually an error. I will agree that, at first glance, it looks like PMD. But closer examination reveals it to be a struck through debris error. This is most commonly caused by contaminated press lubricants finding their way into the striking chamber.

  • For those who don't know, I collect Lincoln cents. I have done so for quite a while and have spent a lot of time researching the series. Here is a little video I put together showing the different dies used from 59 through 08. If you find this kind of thing interesting, there are similar videos on my channel showing different obverse and reverse die details over the years.

    Enjoy...

  • Capped die strikes.
I have a few of these in my collection. So, I thought I would post one of my progressions. These were all struck from the same die cap...

  • Today was a good day. My new best friend "Elite" just Commissioned me to draw not 1, not 2, not 3, but 10 of the coins in his wonderful collection...

  • Newsflash....
Updated my booth layout and added a video playing on a loop...

So far i have sold a bunch of my limited edition prints, landed 3 commisions and sold one complete artist proof portfolio.

Note: I started selling the portfolios in April, i am only producing 10 and i only have 3 left.

I am having a great time. Everyone i have met has been exceptionally nice. (except maybe 1 or 2 of you. And u know who you are)... :-)
