Hi Guys , This is Vincent Savage over from CAC Forum. Friends and family use my nickname Larry , so I am using it here since it’s available . Thanks to Ian Russell for turning me onto this forum . I didn’t notice a page with topics etc , so I’m putting this here .

I picked up a 1799 $10 Gold from Deplorable Dan at FUN show yesterday . I’m glad it’s larger then later $10’s are ..

I added it to a 3 coin line up of coins from 3 centuries …. Hope you like .

Nice set! I like the red color of the capital holder, as I don't believe that I've ever seen anything other than white or black, previously. The stand is nice, too.

  I’ve never been Able to find another one . . It is most likely from the early 70’s or before . Got it from estate of an older man .

My coin is coin number 7 in the Essay contest. An 1889-CC Morgan graded XF 40 in a new CAC holder. Haven't seen the coin in holder yet. It was a gift to my now deceased sister from our grandmother when she was born. I never realized that it was the coin that got me started collecting coins over 60 years ago. They should publish the complete story.
