STOLEN COIN ALERT! For the first time EVER in the 35+ years I've been dealing in coins (yes, I know I'm very lucky), I had a package that I shipped by USPS Overnight Priority Express get broken into and the coin stolen, and a sliced up empty package delivered to my customer! I'm frustrated, angry, and sad that we have to deal with such unscrupulous U.S. postal workers who are handling our mail. Of course the coin was insured, but it is such a hassle and very disconcerting to me and my customer to have to go through this. I already filed claims with the p.o., my insurance, and also reported it to Doug Davis. So now I'm posting it here in case anyone happens across this particular coin. It's a 1928 Lincoln cent in PCGS MS67 RD, Cert No. 50542207.
