Such a wide variety between coins of the same grade. Love this series and will always be buying high grade examples, original low grades, and any with color.

  • Two new(ish) purchases, an 1823 O-112 in MS64 and an 1834 O-109 in MS64+

The 1823 has unbelievable luster and eye appeal. Without the die imperfection, it rivals the 64+ in grade.

The 1834 is a wholesome coin with a touch of album toning. I typically avoid small date halves (34 and on) but this one had enough eye appeal for me to get over the lack of design quality.

Overall very happy with the two and will likely hold onto them for a few months before offering one for private sale.
