About Me
I started collecting in 1962. Started out doing everything...mostly current. Then went into collecting all Dimes and all Varieties of Dimes. I also am doing the Classic set, which is Buffalo Nickels, Mercury Dimes, Standing Quarters, and Walking Half Dollars. I also have a Complete Nickel Basic Set 1866 to date going. And last but not least I a'm doing a Everyman Type Set using Varieties whenever possible.

  • I just added this 1892 Dime to my PCGS Variety Showcase. This is the first 1892 I have seen with an open "9" in the date. I have looked at more than a thousand 1892's and this is the first I have seen. IT jumped out at me. Anyone who has an 1892 Dime check it out. I would be very interested if anyone else has one in their collection. There has to be more!

  • People know me as being a Variety Nut. This proves it. I just added this 1935-D to my PCGS Variety Showcase because the MM "D" overlaps the Leaf. There are Varieties in the Seated Dimes where the Date overlaps the Base Miss Liberty rest on. So why not this. Besides it's a pretty Dime.

  • I just added another 1908 RPD-UL to my Variety Showcase on the PCGS Registry. The workers at the Philly and Denver Mints must have been juiced most of the time in 1908!
