- I have a good question that pertains to several registry sets. Why is the 1870-S Liberty Seated Dollar included in the registry set? The mint has no records of it being produced.
If you are going to include the 1870-S, why not include the 1873-S? It has a mint record of 600 being struck! Perhaps it would bring out the coin rumored to be seen out west in the early 60's!

It makes sense to include the coin with pops and exclude the one with no pops. The 1870-S has a PCGS population of 5, I did not check the NGC/CACG pops. The 1873-S has no known examples. - ToddPollock Agree. We're not including 1964 Peace Dollars for the same reason.[ToddPollock] Agree. We're not including 1964 Peace Dollars for the same reason.
- ToddPollock LOL! I ain't spending a million + on a coin no matter what the registry requires! With no mint records on the 70-S it wouldn't surprise me if they were proven to be counterfeit one day. Trying to stir up an interesting debate here![ToddPollock] LOL! I ain't spending a million + on a coin no matter what the registry requires! It's an AU58 1852 Seated Dollar. I assume there is a value threshold where a coin is put under review. What is that value and how long does it take for the coin to be accepted? Is there steps one should take to add higher valued coins to their sets?

I cleared it late last night and it should clear later today, if not tomorrow. Any time you get a coin in pending, feel free to message me. I check and clear the pending several times a day but it is always ok to let me know.It is not based on value, it just did not link up in the system. - amwldcoin not ownership. They get verified at the TPG, checked at CAC and then the internal numbers for each grading company match in our system. It is easy for a label variety or other things to throw it off.[amwldcoin] not ownership. - amwldcoin Trust me there is a lot more to the backside of our systems than most people would want to know about. Dont get me started on registry set building.[amwldcoin] Trust me there is a lot more to the backside of our systems than most people would want to know about.
