But you know, hope see's things sometimes.I acquired several Ike proofs lately looking for varieties. This is a 72 s, does this look like the DDO FS 101 to you? - Keep in mind any reply must be a generalization, as there are always plenty of exceptions.
If you’re referring to coins graded by CACG, compared to non-stickered coins graded by PCGS and NGC, it appears that due to the perceived (in my opinion real) conservative grading of CACG holdered coins, they have been selling at higher prices than the same grade non stickered coins by the other two TPG’s.
Same thing for stickered coins compared to non stickered coins in those same two TPG holders in the same grade, unless you’re looking at low valued coins. Then the differential is often tiny, or non existent, with eye appeal carrying a much greater weight in determining value of low valued coins.
Just my two cents worth. SteveKeep in mind any reply must be a generalization, as there are always plenty of exceptions. - Sorry late to the thread. I’m a CAC submitter and I have one set in particular that’s all PF 67
PCGS and CAC green bean. One was in a NGC holder (Eric P. Newman) I took several photos before sending it in for crossover and had the “Newman” on the label. I was told I could mail it in with pictures and documentation and they’d resticker for a minimal fee. I do not want 7 matching PCGS and one CCAG. And no I don’t need to hear it’s the coin not the plastic. I like what I like so y’all feel free to keep YOUR collection as you’d like.Sorry late to the thread. - Just FYI: CAC has historically released a small sampling each month to show how sales of some specifically chosen CAC certified coins compare with sales of the same/like coin from other Third Party Grading services. Again, this is just a small sampling and there may be other factors which contribute to the price difference. But I find it interesting nonetheless, and I enjoy looking at some really cool coins each month:

- Most people feel that a stickered coin is worth more than a CAC coin simply because that means two grading companies seem the coin. A case can also be made that CACG is using the same standards as CAC stickering. Looks like both bring strong premiums at the moment. Most people feel that a stickered coin is worth more than a CAC coin simply because that means two grading companies seem the coin. - RyanG 1 beef I have with their system is the Legacy status. I think any coin that crosses from a PCGS or NGC holder to the new CACG holder should receive the coveted L for the reasons you state. They have been reviewed by 2 different grading services.[RyanG] 1 beef I have with their system is the Legacy status.
