About Me
I started collecting coins 40 years ago after being gifted a tub of mercury dimes and buffalo nickels from my great grandfather. I always admired the large silver dollars at coin store display cases but as a kid I could never afford them. During Covid I picked the hobby back up in earnest and completed multiple sets including Morgan and Peace dollars. I love the hunt and am currently re-doing my dollar sets to include all CAC or CACG coins.

- I got this coin in hand and then realized the black streak on Liberty’s face is PVC. The cloudy dark area on the reverse it likely also PVC. Is this worth restoring via a dip in acetone or should I return it to the dealer? - bretsan I would look at it in this way - is a 64 possible? If not, shooting for a 3 isn't worth the risk of it not upgrading.
