  • For Sale - 1937 Proof Buffalo Nickel PCGS PR67+ with CAC

I consigned this coin in the current Legend Regency Auction 61, Lot #66.

    Here is their “flowery” description:

“OFF THE CHARTS eye appeal! While there are plenty of pieces that technically grade finer, we think it would be challenging to find one with the appeal of this beauty! Take a peek at this piece and it's like looking into a clear mountain lake. Blinding mint brilliance accents chiseled design details. The coin looks like it was struck yesterday! My goodness, what a beauty!

PCGS 621, NGC 402, CAC 310. The PCGS Price Guide list is $4,250. The most recent trade of a CAC stickered coin was in February 2022 where it brought $2,040, but it is important to note that coin had a big black spot on the obverse. Non CAC coins that have subsequently sold have brought more! Keep your bidder paddle in the air, if you wish to make this GEM a part of your collection!”

The PCGS Pop at PR67+ is 101, NGC is at 30.

The current bid is $1,800. A 17.5% Buyers Premium is added on to the winning hammer price.

  • Newps slabbed - not my photos
    1935 & 1928-s Buffalo Nickels.
I picked up my first Buffalo Nickel Dansco album. I'm going to have fun filling that in with toners when it arrives.

This radiant Ultra Gem is available now at DLRC! DM me now to add it to your collection for $6,250.
The coin of the week is a near-finest 1936 5C NGC MS68! Without a doubt, the most impressive aspect of this ultra gem is the lack of unstruck areas. Nickel, being a very hard metal, often retained big bag marks and chatter in the central areas due to the lack of sufficient strike pressure. This coin has none of those flaws and is fully struck, with no weaknesses. Glassy mirror-like luster with just a touch of toning at the peripheries, and a hint of prooflike features in the upper reverse field. Act fast to add this stunning coin to your collection!
