If you were going to keep only one of these for your Registry Set, which one would you choose? The 1914-D is one of the really elusive keys to the set. The first below, graded MS64+BN PCGS CAC, is a wonderful blueberry toner with IMHO a single obverse tick near Lincoln's chin in the right field that keeps it from an MS65 grade. (Maybe I should try Reconsideration!) OTOH, the second coin below is graded MS65 PCGS CAC and is one of the finest for that grade I have ever seen. I own both of these. Talk amongst yourselves ...

I lean toward the 66. While I like toned cents for the novelty of them, the BN/RB to me usually highlights the design of the coins better. Since the first is CAC (assuming green?), I’m not sure resubmit would get anywhere, unless that is a CAC gold. Seems like PCGS is more strict on toned Lincolns.
Well, also based on this GtG game, Lincoln’s in general are being more closely held to ANA standards that nearly every other coin that seems to come across.

  VDBCoins meant the 65. Fat finger typed 66. From the pic, the 65 looks like it could squeak by as RB, IMO.
