By far the smallest escudo I have ever owned or seen! This little 1 escudo was struck during the 1715 Fleet shipwrecks period we often see recovered on the wreck sites. With a nearly complete shield on the obverse and a perfect cross on the reverse, it has been a highlight of my personal collection. And graded NGC MS 65... just cant beat it!
