  • Hey all, I have just issued my 25th fixed price list of colonial coins, ranging from $50-5,000, nearly 100 pieces in total, from Massachusetts silver and early issues, through the state coinages, Fugio coppers, Washingtonia, and contemporary counterfeit British and Irish coppers. If you are on my mailing list you will have received it - but if you are not, and would like one, please send me a private message with your email address and I will be happy to get it off to you.

  • And I will start off with a bang - a lovely SILVER Anglesey penny token. This was the first of the Conder tokens struck, and this was a very special piece, probably made for presentation to luminaries, and certainly not intended to be used in commerce!

  • Hello all. I would be a bad president of the Conder Token Collectors Club if I did not let you all know that there is an international group focused just on these wonderful 18th century tokens. Dues are quite cheap - $10 for a digital delivery of the journal, more for a print one (printing and postage are quite expensive!) Your membership not only gets you fellowship with other collectors, a free ad in every issue of the journal, a free digital copy of the British journal Token Collector Society Bulletin (which focuses on ALL British tokens, from the 15th century to modern times), you also get access to ALL 80+ back issues of the journal, a veritable gold mine of information. You can join online here:

  • I'll start with a favorite...though I have to admit FAR more of my collection of Spanish pieces are the contemporary counterfeits which are very cool, very interesting, and often worth far more than the genuine examples!
