Central States wrap-up: The Central States show is over. How was it? To mangle the famous Latin quote: veni, vidi, vendidi [I came, I saw, I sold]. I grade my show a solid A. Although the crowds felt smaller than last year, this was offset by the fact that for me the tire-kicker-to-buyer ratio was the lowest I've had this year. Oddly, through Friday, I would have graded the show a B+, but the buyers flooded out on Saturday (rare). The big sellers for me were SLQs and ancient coins. Dollars hardly sold (weird) and a full case of bullion was almost completely ignored. So, I'm very pleased with the show and was quite impressed with the great job the organizers did. Now, on to PAN!
