Owner Description
1878 is an interesting year in numismatics. It was the very last year for the twenty cent piece (only minted in proof that year). We still had the 3 cent piece. Most significantly it was the first year the Morgan Silver Dollar was minted. I decided to put together an 1878 Proof collection to capture some of these coins.
