While here at the 2024 ANA Summer Seminar, I was awarded the 1st Place Kenneth E. Bressett YN Literary Award for the 2nd time in a row by the American Numismatic Association while attending the 2024 Summer Seminar, for my article “Inspiration In Your Pockets: The History Of Circulating U.S. Coin Programs” which describes the history and facts about many of the circulating coin programs created by the United States Mint to help inspire a younger generation of coin collectors.
Along with this award, I was also awarded $500 from Whitman Publishing which went towards the purchase of 40 Red Books which will all be donated to all of the 40 young numismatists attending this year’s Witter Coin University in San Francisco in July.
I would like to thank the ANA (@americanumismatic) for this award, and I would also like to thank Seth Chandler (@wittercoin) for the incredible opportunity to attend Witter Coin University last year.
