I have been asked what do I do to store slabbed coins and what my process is as a collector. When I am sure I have the highest grade that I am looking to get, I do a few things before I put it in its case. One thing I have noticed is so many slabs look like they went through a war. I don't know how anyone can mishandle slabs so badly.
What I do is:
Step 1: Micro-fiber cloth and a good polish. There are a lot of good plastic polishes, I happen to have a good guitar polish that works on all surfaces.
Step 2: After the polish, I sleeve them. I wish more people sleeved the holders.
I don't know if you can make it out in the sleeve, that is a shiny holder. If I was a dealer, I would make sure all my stuff was presentation grade.
