It’s that time of the year again—when pumpkins begin to populate every grocery store and bulk candy becomes a target for stocking. Throughout the month, haunting imagery like the mural above will descend upon houses and yards all around, with the month culminating in various costume-clad gatherings both child and adult. Though, those with adults will likely feature less candy and more beverages. The pic above falls into that theme, as I snapped it at Ghost Town Brewing in Oakland earlier in September. A local favorite, their art always screams this time of the year. As for this upload, we’re doing something a little different. Rather than our usual every-other-week upload with 12 items each, we’re instead doing at least four uploads (and maybe five), on each Tuesday of October, though with just six (or maybe a few more) items in each. This will allow us to check in more frequently with items that tend to be among our most popular of the year. We're only trying this approach for October, though, and then returning to a twice-per-month basis as usual.
