The secret service was incorporated back in the 1860's to prevent counterfeiting of US money, primarily. But when Lincoln was killed, they switched that as their primary goal. They are EASILY discovered because they are slightly larger, weigh a little less, are detected with the metal detectors both those you use to find treasure and those that tell you the composition of an object. I brought in a couple and found out this way from a pawn shop! But I also discovered that my jewelry I bought 20 years ago is 22 carat so that's OK by me. I bought bracelets, necklaces weighing over 11 OZ for the going price back in the old days: about $225 per ounce. Oh how I wish I could go back in time! I ONLY bought the silver to prove they are fake, but no one wants to touch them! They are also sold on Facebook, youtube, pop-ups on websites, etc.

Want to bet???! They are also selling 2024 silver eagles for $50 for 4 coins. They look good, even sound pretty good. But they are actually made up of 99% copper. With a very thin coat of silver. When I reported them to the Secret service, they said they weren't coin experts and can't tell if a coin is fake or not!!!

  Raycyca Wow! Yeah, you're right because I realize I posted about this same company about a year ago! That's BS they won't help. No, they aren't experts but they can hire one. This is international. This company is based in China so not a whole lot we can do here. Maybe CIA? INTER-POL? IC3? Idk.

Are they including photographs of the genuine product, not what they actually ship? If that is the actual counterfeit, I don't know what kind of profit they make after forging the box, insert, slab, and coin.
