- EAC5050My example is a "details" coin as well. Early copper is so susceptible to environmental issues as well as attempts to "improve" them (cleaning, burnishing, etc) that there are many "details" type examples out there. It is a very popular series/ type coin and many are sent in to TPGs in order to grade or verify a specific variety and just aren't as "pristine" as say a silver Morgan...My example is a "details" coin as well. - FLXtreeguyToddPollock that, but mainly asking if it affects the collectors choice I guess you could say. Like should I steer away from them with details if it all possible like I would others due to affecting value and resale[ToddPollock] that, but mainly asking if it affects the collectors choice I guess you could say. - ToddPollockFLXtreeguy I think you see more because people want to know the coin is real, hence more coins get submitted for details. As opposed to a Morgan where it is pretty easy to tell a fake, worn flowing hair coins are much tougher to tell if real. Many of these coins are collectible even if in a details holder as opposed to a Morgan/Peace/Walker where you dont have to settle for a details coin.[FLXtreeguy] I think you see more because people want to know the coin is real, hence more coins get submitted for details.
