- ToddPollockYou have quite the mix of coins, more than anyone here can really help you price out. You might show a few specific times and then people will probably help with just those. You have some silver and some gold so there is value there. The proof and mint sets trade well below the dealer bid. People sell single greysheets on ebay, that may be the best guide for the variety you have. You have quite the mix of coins, more than anyone here can really help you price out. - Hello! I inherited a coin collection from a relative that passed a few years ago. I know very little about the hobby. I assume what I have probably isn't worth anything other than its face value, since Great Collections said the grading cost would likely exceed what the coins are worth. , They advised me to post them here to determine any value. I appreciate any helpful feedback. Thank You!

Unless the Presidential dollar coins are in immaculate shape AND they happen to have a Mint error such as missing or wrong edge lettering, these are simply worth face value ($1). This is discussed in the Red Book (Reference #1 below).

- JETStudios: Todd is right. Unfortunately, these coins along with their other Manganese-Copper counterparts (Sacagawea dollar, Native American $1 Coins, etc.) are often marketed as "Golden Dollars" although they are mostly (88.5%) copper. It's a marketing gimmick from the U.S. Mint which I don't appreciate at all because these coins are often resold by unscrupulous 3rd party companies to target vulnerable populations (like the elderly) who can not easily determine that these coins are simply composed of base metals with overinflated marketing rhetoric.[JETStudios]: Todd is right. - Tony Thank you again. So if these coins are only worth what the face value says on them, does that mean they are legal tender and can be used like any other average US mint nickel, dime, or quarter? Will a bank or grocery store take them?[Tony] Thank you again. - JETStudios Yes, they are normal coin for use. Will some cashiers out there think they are quarters, yes but they are easily corrected.[JETStudios] Yes, they are normal coin for use. Will some cashiers out there think they are quarters, yes but they are easily corrected.

These coins have no silver content. Therefore, the best I can tell you from user submitted photos is that it looks like face value again. Another reference to the Red Book so that you can verify for yourself.
All of these certificates are, how shall I say this . . . laughable. It looks like someone printed these bogus certificates out to try and convince the elderly that these coins are more important than they really are.

These appear to be worth face value. There are some known varieties (like the 2004-D Wisconsin extra leaf) that may be worth more. I highly recommend the "Red Book" since all of this is discussed under the "State Quarters" section of the Red Book:
