- fightingirishIanRussell Nice - I’ve got a top 100 style seated half set in the works. Interestingly, I’ve hit a bug with this particular coin…I can add to my inventory but not to my seated half proof set…I assume because of something in the PCGS API related to it having the variety designation.[IanRussell] Nice - I’ve got a top 100 style seated half set in the works. - A pretty 1884 (PF66 PCGS) I added to my collection from the Millholland collection that was auctioned at Stacks earlier this year. The story behind this collection was compelling…collected in late 1800s and forgotten about in tact collection in a family home (in handmade wooden trays) until now adult grandkids found/auctioned it.A pretty 1884 (PF66 PCGS) I added to my collection from the Millholland collection that was auctioned at Stacks earlier this year. - I was underbidder on an 1881 50c in 66 CAC in the same auction and part of me wishes I’d swallowed a couple more bids and overpaid for this coin’s twin as they all had a similar toning pattern and look, which is gorgeous in hand.I was underbidder on an 1881 50c in 66 CAC in the same auction and part of me wishes I’d swallowed a couple more bids and overpaid for this coin’s twin as they all had a similar toning pattern and look, which is gorgeous in hand.
