- The venue is pretty spectacular. From memory - Colorado Springs is about an hour's drive from Denver airport. Colorado Springs airport is pretty convenient if you can fly direct. The venue is pretty spectacular. From memory - Colorado Springs is about an hour's drive from Denver airport. - IanRussell For last year’s Summer Seminar I flew into Denver, rented a car, and drove to Colorado Springs. It’s about a 2+ hour drive these days and that’s with nice weather (Denver traffic is also terrible). In March, and the chance of bad weather, I would definitely fly into Colorado Springs.[IanRussell] For last year’s Summer Seminar I flew into Denver, rented a car, and drove to Colorado Springs.
