[Westin] Yeah if we’re not talking About a certain point range that’s hardest it’s definitely those. With the toned ones you can’t see contact marks or anything. I also made a post a while ago asking for tips on this because thats the one thing where I’m often off by multiple points.

[Westin] Yeah I know what you mean. 😆 It seems to me like circ coins below au50 are the easiest points (especially g4 and below), but the hardest points to get is some AU stuff and slider mint state coins when you call it a 61 for example and it’s a 58 or reversed you only get 7 points

[Samthecoinman] I didn't under-grade the walker either. I always get walkers with some really obvious big marks in the field, I'll go like 65 on it being generous thinking it's more like a 4, then it'll be a 6. Then I get frustrated so the next even worse looking one I'll call a 66 and it's miraculously a 67. Of course there's always a 58 like this one to make me really lose it. Lol

Might consider it. I think if I can get at least a point up it would be more desirable though than a green bean.

[Samthecoinman] A gold sticker might be even better. If it gets green then goes 66+ you can have the sticker out back on.

[Samthecoinman] the banners on the reverse that are by the outside of the shield that cross the wings show a bit of wear, but for a coin that shows actual wear it’s incredibly clean

[Samthecoinman] the color on the ms one and be seen a few like that in mint state holders but that color is usually an AU

[Zach150] That’s what I was thinking. That color is usually about 55 but that was in my education mode for mint state double eagles so I knew it had to be ms.
