About Me
Thanks to my uncle, I got into coins at a young age. I have all sorts of coins, from ancient Roman coins to plenty of interesting WWII-era and 20th century foreign coins which got me started off as a collector. I started to get into the graded coin market in late 2024.

Now, currently 16, I'm currently focusing on collecting an UNC set of Morgan dollars + a HOT-50 VAM set, finishing an inherited set of Mercury dimes, finishing a set of Wheat Cents, and building out my US type set.

I also collect proof coins and proof sets, simply because they're beautiful.

  • Hi everyone,
I just got this coin at a show the other day, and I noticed something off. First off, it's an 1861 3 Cent Silver (type 3) and yes it's holed and scratched, but I got if for just $10 thinking it was a good filler for my type set. Then, after I put it in and I was looking at both sides, I realized they are aligned in the same direction. Please tell me if I'm going crazy, but aren't all US coins north-south (↑↓)? Could this be a die alignment error? I'd appreciate any input you might have, and thanks in advance!

  • Just got back from my vacation to Europe on Thursday, and one of the things I wanted to do while there was visit a coin shop–Shout out to Historia Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany. Great selection, and great people. Anyways, I just wanted to share a couple of the coins I got. These two in particular are German States coppers, both with some nice toning that caught my eye. I'm also happy to do another post or two about the other stuff I got if anyone is interested.

  • Just curious to see if anyone has ever come across a slab like this before? Looks to be a meaningless Chinese copy of a PCGS-style slab, and the listing show some sort of verification page? Idk, just curious to see if anyone else has seen these before. I look forward to your thoughts.

  • Came across this ANACS certified broadstruck Lincoln cent on eBay, but the slab doesn't look familiar to me and after check the ANACS slab generations (https://oldslabholders.com/anacs-cert-and-slab-generations) I could not find a match. I also noticed that the ANACS logo on the back label overlaps the barcode? Seems fishy. Was wondering if anyone had insight as to it's legitimacy. Not sure who would fake an ANACS slab, especially for something like this, but idk. Thoughts are much appreciated.

  • Hey y'all, just wanted to share some interesting coins I have! Nowadays I focus on US stuff, but I picked up these a little while back now.

These coins were issued during the First World War by the German military administration of the East, Ober Ost, which comprised the former Russian governorates of Courland, Grodno, Vilna, Kovno and Suwałki, corresponding to parts of modern-day Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Belarus. I have one of each of the 1, 2, and 3 Kopek coins. These were made of iron and minted in Berlin (A) and Hamburgische Münze (J).

Hope you enjoy, just wanted to share a few pieces of history!

  • Came across this on eBay today– I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on exactly what this is? It looks a lot like your standard 1996 proof set, but it comes in a box that's labelled "Proof Bank Set". Just curious, as I haven't seen these before. Here's the link for your investigation:

  • Just got this vintage Heritage auction catalog today and figured I'd share. September 1987 Long Beach sale. They've got some nice ones in there, too! I like some of the non-coin numismatic items out there, like this.

  • I just want to confirm with the experts out there- this is machine doubling, not a DDO, correct? Three pics are of a 1986 cent. Some doubling on the 6 in the date, and lots on the reverse, although especially prominent on the right side of the Lincoln memorial and in CENT.

  • Alright, I've got a stumper here! I got these several years ago now, some were a gift from my dad. Supposedly these are Russian coins, dated 1945, commemorating different tanks from World War II. The larger three are 100 rubles and the smaller 6 are 50 rubles. I have come to question their authenticity for several reasons. 1) You can get them on sites like Etsy and AliExpress (). I also just found some that are in bogus slabs that are subtly imitating PCGS. 2) If they were truly Russian, the names of the vehicles should be in Cyrillic characters, and some are not. 3) I've seen some which are marked "COPY", which mine are not, and I've also seen "gold" ones (brass, by the looks of it). Some sites also describe them as commemorative tokens minted much later than 1945, and even into the present day. I also tried searching on Numista, for those of you who have heard of it, but to no avail. Some of these came from Russia, and some were bought from Ukraine, if that says anything. Anyways, if anyone has and thoughts or comments, I would much appreciate any opinions out there. I just want to know what I'm working with!

  • If you've read my bio, you'd know that I'm trying to complete a set of Wheaties I inherited. I was wondering if anyone had thoughts as to the best approach for finishing off the set. This is a large portion of the set in the old Whitman folder I inherited- I have all of the later date coins from 1940 on. I am mostly missing pre-1935, although some of the late 30s are missing also. I'm unsure if old roll hunting/lot searching is the best way to go, or if I should try and pick them off individually. Also, as you may be able to tell from the pic, many of the coins that my uncle had put in were taped over to prevent them from falling out, so I don't care too much about condition, I more just want to get a full set. Any and all thoughts are welcome!
