About Me
Thanks to my uncle, I got into coins at a young age. I have all sorts of coins, from ancient Roman coins to plenty of interesting WWII-era and 20th century foreign coins which got me started off as a collector. I started to get into the graded coin market in late 2024.

Now, currently 16, I'm currently focusing on collecting an UNC set of Morgan dollars + a HOT-50 VAM set, finishing an inherited set of Mercury dimes, finishing a set of Wheat Cents, and building out my US type set.

I also collect proof coins, simply because they're beautiful.

  • Alright, I've got a stumper here! I got these several years ago now, some were a gift from my dad. Supposedly these are Russian coins, dated 1945, commemorating different tanks from World War II. The larger three are 100 rubles and the smaller 6 are 50 rubles. I have come to question their authenticity for several reasons. 1) You can get them on sites like Etsy and AliExpress (). I also just found some that are in bogus slabs that are subtly imitating PCGS. 2) If they were truly Russian, the names of the vehicles should be in Cyrillic characters, and some are not. 3) I've seen some which are marked "COPY", which mine are not, and I've also seen "gold" ones (brass, by the looks of it). Some sites also describe them as commemorative tokens minted much later than 1945, and even into the present day. I also tried searching on Numista, for those of you who have heard of it, but to no avail. Some of these came from Russia, and some were bought from Ukraine, if that says anything. Anyways, if anyone has and thoughts or comments, I would much appreciate any opinions out there. I just want to know what I'm working with!

  • If you've read my bio, you'd know that I'm trying to complete a set of Wheaties I inherited. I was wondering if anyone had thoughts as to the best approach for finishing off the set. This is a large portion of the set in the old Whitman folder I inherited- I have all of the later date coins from 1940 on. I am mostly missing pre-1935, although some of the late 30s are missing also. I'm unsure if old roll hunting/lot searching is the best way to go, or if I should try and pick them off individually. Also, as you may be able to tell from the pic, many of the coins that my uncle had put in were taped over to prevent them from falling out, so I don't care too much about condition, I more just want to get a full set. Any and all thoughts are welcome!

  • Happy hump day, we're halfway to the weekend! As some encouragement, I thought I'd share this gorgeous MS66+ 1937-D 3-legged Buffalo Nickel from David Hall Numismatics. The best part: it can be yours for the low-low price of $89,500! Bask in it's glory, and keep at it! Friday will be here sooner than we know it!

  • Came across this today and I had to share. PCGS-graded 1860 O Seated Half struck through an 1860 O Half Dime. They were graded together as a mated pair. Probably one of the most fascinating errors I've heard of to date! Sorry the slab picture isn't better; I couldn't find a better one.

  • A friend of mine found this in the parking lot at Walmart, and we're wondering what is might be. It looks Arabic, although it isn't similar to what I'm used to for Ottoman/Egyptian coinage. I'm thinking it's some kind of token, perhaps religious? Curious to see what you all have to say!

  • I've just acquired this invalid coin mention. Got this to start my Hot-50 Morgan VAM set, and it's pedigreed to the Gene L. Henry collection. Henry was one of the most prominent VAM and silver dollar collectors in the nation, and his hoard of dollars included around 135,000 pieces. After his passing, his collection has been slowly released into the market.

  • Just got this 1921 in the mail today, and I need some other opinions. It seems like it's really high grade, and I mean REALLY high grade. I took pictures with my phone as best as I can, I'll try and get some pictures with my scope up later this evening. Am I crazy thinking that this could grade a 65 or even a 66? If so, I'd definitely want to send it in. The luster is crazy and the strike is pretty good. Thanks in advance for any input you might have!

  • Calling all Indian Head experts!
I picked up this 1882 ICG AU-50 Indian on WhatNot, and after throwing it under my scope, it seems to exhibit clear doubling on "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", and is most prominent in "UNITED". Any insight as to if this is a variety recognized by NGC/PCGS would be much appreciated. I'd love to cross it over and get the variety attribution, if possible, I just can't find much info online regarding and 1882 DDO.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Hey,
Would this raise any red flags on a Morgan for any of you? What causes this?
