- Here is my first gold dollar coin so far. 1854 type 1
It weighs properly and passed an xrf test...
I think that it's legit but would love some input from the serious collectors on here!
Apologies for the 10x loupe in front of a phone camera, it's the best that I can manage currently. - TurtleCatReedingRainbow There are some great deals on the common ones. If you look for AU58 slabbed you should find some nice eye appealing ones for only a small premium over melt. A great way to start.[ReedingRainbow] There are some great deals on the common ones. If you look for AU58 slabbed you should find some nice eye appealing ones for only a small premium over melt. - Not sure if this has been discussed before but I think that a side feature that allows you to pick a certain type of coin to grade would be very helpful (for instance, all peace dollars etc).
A club feature, as mentioned by another poster, would be amazing as well!
I shamelessly promote this amazing resource to anyone that will listen and just wanted to thank you folks for putting together such a quality grading exercise. It's extremely useful and helpful. Not sure if this has been discussed before but I think that a side feature that allows you to pick a certain type of coin to grade would be very helpful (for instance, all peace dollars etc).
