Ok so I have a problem the coins I have at Ngc right now are in grading/encapsulation/imaging, well hurricane milton is about to make landfall in Sarasota so that means they are going to be delayed who knows how long and I was hoping I would have them this weekend and another thing I was worried about in the submission was the coins being sms they had the cent as not sms and the half dollar as sms I called and they didn’t change the half dollar to Ms but when I told them they were from the same packaging they change the cent to sms

I’m going to send off a modern submission soon with just newer commemorative coins and silver eagles should I wait for the new 2024 flowing hair dollar to come out or should I just send what I have in. So far I have a 2005 silver eagle 2023 Morgan proof dollar 2 2024 silver eagles and a 2018 $10 gold liberty piece.

I’m a little confused because I just looked at the coins I the submission and they made a mistake they say that the 2005 Lincoln cent I have is not sms put the 2005 half dollar is sms they came from the exact same set someone explain this the sms looks different than the regular so how did they get this wrong I’m going to call them today and see if they can correct it.

The coins are going fast through the system at NGC they are at grading in 3 days it’s looking good.

My newest submission has been received which means about 10 days until they ship back to me but I’ll be gone the week after the next so let’s hope they come in before then because if not it is going to be really difficult not to look at the grades online which I don’t like doing. the submission is modern.

My newest submission is now in scheduled for grading. They typically go from received to scheduled for grading in one day but the rest is usually slow. But I hope they go fast so they come in before I have to leave. the have until the 14th.

A little gold has never hurt anybody, probably.

I have a few pvc coins that I got back from Ngc, they are back and they of course did not get graded I sent them in for gsa and if I send them in for conservation they will have to take them out of the gsa case but I can’t get them graded otherwise so should I sent them in for ncs conservative.

I've just acquired this 1981-S Susan B. Anthony Dollar NGC MS-66.

Anyone know where I can get a professional photo of this coin by 10/1/2024. I need one by then or I’ll miss the deadline.

Update on my post about the pvc, I’ll let the picture speak for itself. There goes 100 dollars I’m not getting back.

Since I’ve been getting a lot of pvc coins I’m going to try to send in old mint sets that look like they have pvc and send them all in I want to see which ones get graded and don’t get graded.

I don’t Usually get mad at poor grading jobs but I sent in a 2 coin submission to Ngc 2 weeks ago under the modern tier, two soft pack gsa 1971 S Ike dollars and I looked them over one was a peg leg I looked at both for pvc damage neither had pvc damage so I sent them in and recently they went to quality control/finalized and then immediately went back down the grading/quality control so I called Ngc to make sure everyting was fine and I was told they were graded and about to be shipped and that they were in shipping. The next day I get an email for ncs conservation for the two coins that were apparently in shipping, so I replied no to the email and called them, the person I talked to said they weren’t encapsulated and they were found to have pvc in quality control. Come on I was completely lied to the first time I called I’m still mad, I think I’m going to switch to PCGS for a while

Alright I’ve been looking for a nice cheerios cent ms67 or maybe even 68 but this is the cheerios cent I’ve had for a while
