I'm looking to see if anyone may have some insight into identifying this coin. I've had this for years, found in a box of old world coins given to me a long time ago. Recently I read an article on PCGS that they are now authenticating, grading Chinese coins, I think from some of the included pics in the article It may be Qing(Ch'ing) Dynasty circa 1713 AD but unsure. If anyone on here may have some expertise, I would welcome and appreciate any info and recommendation on whether I should send to PCGS. TIA

I've just acquired this [coin:eded8c54-dc3d-11f0-8b21-0660ea78a99b]. One of the real challenges in the Capped Bust Series, along with the 1807 Bearded Goddess, the 1812/1 Large '8', the 1812 Single Leaf, the 1820 No Serrif's, and the biggie 1817/4. All are somewhat doable except for the 1817/4 (only 11 known) but for the the average collector with a realistic budget we might have to moderate the grade a bit. This coin fits that bill. And only 10 CAC approved (Stickered/Graded), with half of that XF and higher. This is a coin I've been looking for for years. PCGS #38935 & 39836 are the same coin, just with different label attribution labeling, but also values don't show as same. maybe they'll get to that one of these days.
